There are many ways you can generate leads, as a real estate agent and that is through social media. One of the biggest competitors of all social media platforms is Facebook. Real estate agents use Facebook to generate leads by sharing posts, ads, and articles that are related to the topic. For example, if you are a real estate agent that is interested in listings that involve divorced marriages it is good to use Facebook. Why? This is a great technique to advertise to your marketed audience! Why? It is a great technique to use because you can choose the demographics, the relationship status, and living situation of your targeted audience.
Advertise to the right audience
If I were an agent that is targeting divorced couples, I would choose to reach out to those that are separated, that are homeowners, and that are older than 25 years old. Advertising to the right audience is a crucial part of your campaign because you can spend time with the wrong people if you don’t advertise to the right market.
What kind of message should I send to my targeted audience?
If divorce couples were my targeted audience, I would post articles or advertisements that talk about selling the home during a divorce. Different types blogs and ads such as “Complete Guide To Sell Your Home During Divorce” or “5 Simple Steps To Sell During Divorce” to get them to come into your social media platform. They can also opt to fill out a form for more information if there is no time to read any guides. This is a great technique to switch around that into a lead.
Demographically you need to make sure you target the area that you are interested in advertising. For example, if I were to list homes in Santa Monica I would make sure to advertise within 25 miles from Santa Monica. The reason that you would need to list in the area, is to make sure you don’t waste the advertisement on people that are not interested.
