That is awesome and a big accomplishment.
My parents came to the United States with only the clothes on their back. In the course of their life, they built a very nice portfolio of investment properties. They built an estate of several million dollars.

They bought their first investment property. In the next few years they bought their second investment property … and that is how they started.
The retirement was awesome. They had their home paid off. The had $10,000 of rental income for their living expenses. They put all of their grandchildren through college which gave them great pleasure in doing.
